We were known as the petty traders. Just like Brahmins are known as the priests, we were known as cosmetics products sellers. We used to buy cosmetics from city markets and sell it in our villages. The nearest market would be Kathmandu or Butwal, at least a week long walk from here. We the group of at least 30 people would gather and manage logistics and food for around 15 days and leave for capital. After 6-7 days long journey all the way to Tumlingtar- Trisuli- Nuwakot- Balaju (gateway), we would finally reach our destination Ashan-Indrachock. We all had a day for shopping and then gather logistics to get back to village.
