I came here as a trekking guide back in 2045 BS from Solukhambhu and ended up living here. Life was good, until my wife passed away during delivery. She saved our daughter but we couldn’t save her. After her death, all the responsibilities to rear and care my children came on my shoulders. I started collecting firewood for my boss and making a living in agriculture.
With my efforts, I have raised my two girls. They are in the city studying and working for themselves. Here I, along with my son collect firewood every morning and evening and spend rest of the time in fields. As long as my body allows me to work and my family can have a stomach-full rice twice a day, I am happy. (Surrender rain, 47, Nagwal, Manang)
