I grew in a traditional family and studied Sanskrit as my pre-elementary course. I started writing poems since grade six. Growing up at a religious place favoured me this opportunity. At my ninth grade, my poem “Bagger” got first prize of three thousand rupees and a big trophy. The journey of poetry commenced since then. Later, I sent my poem to Nepal Pragya Partisthan in Rastriya Kabita Mahotsab (National Poetry Contest) . My poem got through top 30 out of 365 enthusiastic poets. Then, I went to Kathmandu for the first time in my life to recite my poem. Though I couldn’t make it to the top, I got a good learning experience there. Then my career took a turn. I began participating in every competition, I came across. On ocassion like Bhanu Jayanti and other events, I secured first place and collected trophies and a good sum as well. I used to wish for more of those ocassions to occur. I started traveling nearby districts like Nawalparasi, Dhading, Parsa summing upto over 40 districts with my poems.
Till date, I have earned three dozen prizes and thousands of people who’ve supported me from across the world. For past few years, I have been making my living with the earnings I get from my writes. I demand fees from those who can afford to pay, if they can’t, I go for free. Of late, I am vividly appreciated by my poems’ followers and to tell you, our national poet Madav Prashad Ghimire proclaimed “Chhanda ko naya yug”, (new age of verse) in the status quo, where this form of poetry is in the verge of less property.
