In Nepal Travel Tales, I posted a story of Sambhu, 17 years old boy from Parbat who lost his parents in the interval of ten days because of the disease. Now he works in rubble all day to educate his only family, 11 years old brother. His full story here on the comment below.
Seeing his condition friends from Nepalese Student Association of New Orleans (NSANO), New Orleans, United States provided him $200 for his brother’s education. Yesterday, I handed that money (20265 Nepali rupees) to Sambu.
Receiving support, he expressed his profound happiness and said, “If I was to save this amount of money, I would have to work with river, sand, and gravels for more than three months. Brother please, forward my gratitude and thank you, to the ones who send me this .” We are also exploring potential schools in Kathmandu to educate his brother.
